Today, Photo Search will share with you a little trick that will help create sensual portraits on a black background almost anywhere for shooting. Surprisingly, this technique works even outdoors!
Using a little trick, you will reduce the time for retouching photo material. Everything is very simple. The laws of physics, a little ingenuity and a flash work here. It is important to note that the method works when the power of your flash allows you to absorb ambient light, so it’s better to take pictures in the shade or in cloudy weather.
Preparation and workflow:
You will need a regular reflection umbrella, a powerful flash, and any digital camera.
Adjust the shutter speed of the camera to achieve maximum synchronization with the flash. As a rule, a shutter speed of 1 / 250s -1 / 500s is enough to create a portrait on a black background.
Close the aperture until an underexposed frame appears, i.e. a black background.
Install the flash inside a half-open umbrella.
Maximize the aesthetic appearance of the portrait shooting in RAW mode. Take a series of shots.
